Effective October 14, 2026 (replaces the October 2, 2026 policy)
SLP Session Studio (the "App") is published by Bridging Solutions LLC. This policy explains what the App does with information. The short version: student data stays on your device; the only things that leave it are an anonymous app identifier, your Session Packs subscription status, and — if you use it — the home-practice code you choose to send to a family.
Student names or initials, ages, targets, settings, session scores, saved sheets, and any session recordings are stored only on your device, in the App's private storage. They are never uploaded. Deleting the App deletes this data. Use the backup box on the home screen to move it yourself.
The App creates a random identifier on first launch (no name, email, or device serial). It is used to remember which Session Packs you have opened, to attach your subscription to this installation, and to link a home-practice code to the student it was issued for. It is not tied to your identity and is not shared with advertisers. There is no account and no sign-in.
Session Packs is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple's App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; the App never sees your payment details. The App uses RevenueCat to confirm that a subscription is active. RevenueCat receives the anonymous identifier above and the Apple purchase receipt (product, dates, trial status). Pack content is downloaded from our server (hosted on Supabase) and cached on your device; those requests carry the anonymous identifier so the server can tell whether a pack is unlocked.
When you tap Send home for a student, the App sends the student's current targets (sound, level, theme, word list) to our server together with a code and an anonymous student token derived from the student's name on your device. The student's name itself is not sent. The family redeems the code in the SLP Practice at Home app. If the family keeps sharing on, you will see weekly practice summaries (days, minutes, percent correct) for that student in the App. You can stop issuing codes at any time; families can stop sharing in their own app.
No analytics or advertising SDKs. No selling or sharing of personal information. No tracking across apps or websites. No data from children is collected by this App: it is a tool used by the therapist.
To remove server-side data linked to your anonymous identifier (opened-pack records, issued codes), email cbgoju75@gmail.com and include the identifier shown under Settings → About. Subscriptions are managed in your Apple ID settings.
We will post updates to this page and change the effective date above.
